Hi everyone, I hope that you are all keeping well and sane in these extraordinary times. At Foodbank we are not receiving any members of the public to the door at the moment. All referrals are being made online direct from referral agencies to the Foodbank and we were delivering all parcels as from last Friday. Our satellite branches in Rhayader and Builth are also delivering parcels in order to minimise the risk of infection. This is a massive change for us but necessary to keep everyone as safe as possible.
This also means that if you would normally have donated food directly to Foodbank you will no longer be able to do that either.
Please do not stop donating though, as your generosity is needed now more than ever. You can still leave donations in the large donation box in Tesco or with Andrew Davies at Spar in the town (thank you Andrew). We will be collecting from both places very regularly.
If you have any spare carrier bags, especially the 9 or 10p bags or bigger bags for life we are getting very short of these too which makes delivering quite tricky!! We are happy to collect. If you could let us know you have some and leave them outside your house we could collect without disturbing you. (07519 839189 or [email protected])
