Save Our Shelves – The Foodbank is struggling

2nd April 2026

We’re reaching out with an urgent ask. Right now, our foodbank shelves are running low, while demand continues to rise. More local families than ever are relying on us—and we’re struggling to keep up.

We need your help. A small donation can make a real difference:

  • £10 = 10 tins of tuna
  • £25 = 38 tins of tomatoes
  • £50 = 178 tins of peas or 101 cartons of milk

This isn’t just food—it’s meals, dignity, and support for people in our community when they need it most.

If you’re able to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful. We’d also be proud to recognise your support across our website and social media. In addition you could sponsor one of our shelves helping ensure key everyday items are always available. for example: –

“Cereal Shelf”, a “Fresh Start Milk Shelf”, “Family Juice Shelf”, or “Community Pasta Shelf” sponsored by …………………………….

If this is not something you are able to help with at the moment, we completely understand. However, we would be very grateful if you could keep us in mind for any future opportunities or direct us to any relevant resources or contacts that you may be aware of.

Please get in touch at [email protected] or 07519 839189 if you can help. Thank you for standing with us.

With thanks,
